Annalisa Valentina
singer-songwriter
Annalisa Valentina is Canadian-born singer-songwriter. She has 7 siblings and growing up she was captivated by the music of fellow Canadian, Shania Twain, after hearing “From This Moment” at one of her older sisters’ weddings. Over the last decade of honing her songwriting and learning piano and guitar she has found her own style of music which has notes of Gracie Abrams, Lizzie McAlpine and Grace Enger.
Her autobiographical lyrics are the starting point for all of her songs and she writes about all of life’s ups and downs from unrequited love to living in a new city, to friend breakups and family dynamics.
Annalisa’s favourite thing to do is perform her music and she frequents London’s open mic nights where her witty self-deprecating jokes in between songs add a light-hearted touch to the often difficult subject matter of her music.
