Luke Askew
singer-songwriter
Luke moved from Suffolk to London with a dream! Living and producing in a warehouse attic by day and singing for new audiences every night, his goal is to provide music that is of the highest standard.
He won the title of: ‘East Anglian Young Composer of the Year,’ when he was 17 and also was a finalist in the following year’s: ‘Young Composer’s competition’ from the Royal Philharmonic Society, London. This gained him a scholarship into The Purcell School of Music during the Summer of 2018.
Luke is currently working on a stream of singles, the first being released on the 6th of May called: ‘You Seem Like Someone I Need.’ In April, the accompanying music video was shot in North Norfolk. The single focuses on a theme of relationships that sustain you, be it with yourself; a parent or close friends.
